Kari Colona Hall

Miss Kari has been dancing for 26 years, with extensive experience in ballet, tap and jazz. She spent her childhood years in the studio, at conventions, competitions, and working as an assistant teacher. Throughout her time as a student, Kari held various lead roles in her studio's recital production. While attending college, Kari was awarded scholarships through the Miss America Organization which includes a talent competition. Through pageantry, she was able showcase both a classical and contemporary pointe routine on The Maryland Theatre stage. While studying science at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Kari advanced from an assistant teacher to an instructor at The Dance Loft. With the closure of The Dance Loft in 2017, an opportunity opened for Kari to open a dance studio of her own, a dream that she has had since a child. Since operating a fast growing business, Kari has broadened her dance education by obtaining certifications in student safety (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance), most recently obtaining licenses through Acrobatic Arts. Kari loves that she has spent 17 years teaching in the dance world. Her greatest joy in life is being a wife to her husband John, and mother to their daughter Parker. She feels blessed to be able to teach incredible students and work with an amazing community in the City of Pocomoke.

Katie Zahn is excited to join the studio by working at the front desk! Her daughter is on her fourth year dancing at All About Dance. Katie has helped backstage at numerous recitals in that time. Her favorite part about being at All About Dance is seeing all the dancers excited to learn and grow their skills. Katie has a degree in business management as well as experience cheering, coaching, and playing a supporting role with a competitive gymnastics team. She is looking forward to helping and building relationships with all of the dancers and their families!
